4 Step Install Guide:

Mount the unit parallel. To the ground on the drawbar, in any position (ie.along the top, inside,outside or bottom of the drawbar), with provided self tapping screws.
Connect adaptor to unit.
Plug trailer plug into adaptor.
Plug adaptor into vehicle socket
